Where do I enter my GovBuddy "Activation Code"?
With the launch of the major GovBuddy upgrade in April of 2021 that added collaboration features around Issues we have depreciated the use of "Activation Codes" and moved to GovBuddy Teams. With the advent of GovBuddy Teams, there are no longer any ways to use the legacy "Activation Codes" for account signup.
GovBuddy Groups are now GovBuddy Teams, what does this mean for you?
GovBuddy Group Subscribers are now on a GovBuddy Team Plan. GovBuddy Teams allows for someone in your organization to be a GovBuddy Team Owner. GovBuddy Team Owners are in charge of inviting GovBuddy Team Members into GovBuddy and assigning them licenses. All of this can be done from within GovBuddy.com and if you are having issues you can contact support@govbuddy.com for help.
How do you know who the manager for my company is?
Inside of GovBuddy.com when you login you will find "My Account" by clicking your initials in the top right and clicking the link. When you view the "My Account" page you will find the owner of your team listed.
What this means for you if you already used an Activation Code?
Absolutely nothing changes for you. The code you used upon signup links you to the organization that bought GovBuddy. The GovBuddy Team Manager from that organization is responsible for renewing the licensing assigned to your account. Now though they can do that from within GovBuddy.com and there is no reason to leave the site.
What do I do if I haven't used my "Activation Code" yet?
Contact the person who sent you the "Activation Code" within your organization. Chances are they, or someone they know, is now your GovBuddy Team Manager.
